# Clarity by Whooho

> Clarity is a SaaS platform that measures and improves how a brand appears in the answers of AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok). It shows when AI recommends the brand or its competitors, which sources AI cites, and gives On-Page and Off-Page actions to be cited more often. ## What Clarity does
Clarity runs a set of real search questions ("prompts") about the customer's market on several AI assistants, on a schedule. For every answer it records whether the brand is mentioned, its position, the sentiment, the competitors mentioned and the web sources cited. From this data it computes:
- **Visibility**: share of AI answers that mention the brand, over time and per AI model
- **Benchmark**: position against competitors, head-to-head wins, prompt coverage
- **Sources**: which websites AI cites, and where competitors appear but the brand does not
- **On-Page**: a technical audit of the brand's website for AI readability (structure, schema, Q&A format) plus content to create
- **Off-Page**: third-party sites, communities and directories where the brand should be present

## How a customer starts
1. Sign up and choose the account type: **Normal** (Clarity provides the AI access, included in the plan) or **PRO/BYOK** (the customer uses their own API keys and gets a discount).
2. Enter the brand and website: AI proposes topics, prompts and competitors in the customer's language.
3. Choose a plan and pay with Stripe; the first analysis starts automatically, then runs on schedule.
4. Normal accounts are analysed weekly; BYOK accounts can run analyses up to daily.

Each plan also has a monthly AI usage ceiling for Normal accounts; BYOK customers pay their own AI usage. Payments, renewals, invoices and coupons are handled by Stripe; customers manage their subscription from the Stripe customer portal.

## FAQ
**Can I change plans later?**
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the subscription management portal.

**How does the free trial work?**
Plans with included tokens start right away, without a trial. If you choose BYOK (bring your own API keys) you get 14 free days before the first charge. If you received a trial code, enter it above: the free days apply to any plan.

**What payment methods do you accept?**
We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. Secure PCI-compliant payments.

**Do you issue invoices?**
Yes, Stripe automatically generates invoices. Add your VAT number to your profile for B2B billing.

**What does "BYOK" mean and when is it worth it?**
BYOK = Bring Your Own Keys: you use your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini accounts and pay model usage directly to the providers. Available on Growth and Pro: 30% off our price, extra prompts and analyses up to daily.

## API and AI agents
Clarity can be used pay-per-call by developers and AI agents, with prepaid credits (no subscription needed).
- **geo_audit** — AI-readiness audit of a website: AI crawlers in robots.txt and firewall, llms.txt / llms-full.txt, sitemap freshness, content without JavaScript, Organization schema, snippet directives, trust pages. Price per call.
- **visibility_check** — asks a question to real AI models with live web search and reports if the brand is mentioned, its rank, competitors and cited sources. Price per model asked.
- Access: REST (`POST https://clarity.whooho.it/api/v1/geo-audit`, `POST https://clarity.whooho.it/api/v1/visibility`) with `Authorization: Bearer clr_...`, or the MCP server `https://clarity.whooho.it/api/mcp` as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients (OAuth sign-in).

## Languages
Italian (default), English, Spanish, French, German. AI-generated content (topics, prompts, recommendations) is produced in the brand's market language.
